PEDIATRIC BRACHIAL PLEXUS
The Pediatric Brachial Plexus Palsy Clinic at BC Children's Hospital is a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that provides care to pediatric patients with brachial plexus injuries.
Our team consists of members from plastic surgery, orthopedics, radiology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and nursing. We also have a research co-ordinator for studies done involving BPI patients.
Any physician can refer to the clinic. Referrals should be made when the child’s affected arm has not recovered full active motion by two to three weeks of age. Please fax a referral with the patient history and contact information to the office.
